# AquaSYNC
> AquaSYNC is a multidisciplinary partnership focused on advancing synthesis research in aquatic ecosystems, integrated assessments, and the development of assessment tools. The site details its core activities, including Synthesis Working Groups (SWGs), Integrated Assessments (IAs), and the creation of multi-metric indicator-based assessment tools (MIBATs). Through these efforts, AquaSYNC aims to exploit extensive data to generate knowledge and evidence-based advice for ecosystem-based management.
